Step 1: Removing the Collet

Procedure
  1. Show VPanel.
  2. Click VPanel_Icon_collet_maintenance.

  3. When the window in the following figure is displayed, click OK.

    The spindle unit will move to the milling area.

  4. Open the milling area cover.

  5. Remove the dust-proof cover.

  6. Clean the spindle unit.
    Use the included brush to remove any milling waste from the tip of the spindle unit.

  7. Remove the torque screwdriver sleeve () and bit ().

    IMPORTANT

    Do not loosen the collet with the torque screwdriver with the sleeve () attached.

    Doing so may damage the sleeve. Remove the sleeve from the torque screwdriver before loosening the collet.

  8. Attach the collet attaching/detaching jig onto the torque screwdriver with the sleeve removed.

  9. While gently pressing the torque screwdriver upward, rotate it in the direction indicated in the figure.

    Align the collet with the groove in the collet attaching/detaching jig. Turn the torque screwdriver to loosen the collet, and then turn it by hand to remove it.
