Step 2: Cleaning the Collet

Procedure
  1. Clean the inside of the spindle (where contact with the collet is made) with the included cleaning stick.

    Insert about 2/3 of the cleaning stick tip into the spindle and clean the entirety of the inside of the spindle while moving the cleaning stick up and down aligned with the tapered (slanted) part.

  2. Clean the grooves on the side of the collet.

    Use the included brush to remove any milling waste in the grooves.

  3. Use the included cloth for care to wipe the outside of the collet.

    Do not hold the tapered portion tightly. This part being deformed may result in malfunctions.

  4. Clean the inside of the collet with the cleaning stick.

    Rotate the cleaning stick left and right as if you are brushing the inner portion of the collet.
