Step 4: Performing Printing

The method of printing using Roland Color System Library spot colors is the same as when printing using other spot colors.
Procedure
  1. Add the print data where the spot color was specified to the job list.
  2. Double-click the target file in the job list.
    The Job Settings window appears.
  3. Click .
  4. Select the Convert Spot Color check box.
    When spot colors are properly recognized, the following items are displayed:
    Color Name The name of the spot color used with the job is displayed.
    MEMO If the spot color is one defined in the Lab color space, a caution mark () is displayed when this color cannot be reproduced (it is out of the gamut) with the selected media and quality.
    Nearest Color Finder When the Nearest Color Finder - Apply Adjusted Color check box is selected, VW_CheckONblue is displayed for any spot colors where the Nearest Color Finder adjustments can be applied.
    Output Color Displays the process color values to which the spot color has been converted.
  5. Configure Layout, Quality, and other settings necessary for printing.
  6. Click OK to close the Job Settings window.
  7. Click .
    Processing by the RIP and printing are performed.
