Adjusting the Output Color of a Spot Color: Nearest Color Finder
If the ink, media, or printer has been changed, the output color of the spot color may not be as intended.
Use Nearest Color Finder to adjust the output color of the spot color. The spot color to be adjusted can also be specified according to measurement color, spot color in the spot color library, or ink ratio.
First, print the chart of the colors nearest to the spot color used in the job or to the specified spot color. The chart can then be used to find the desired color and apply it to adjust the color to the intended output. There are charts for visualization (left) and charts for measurement (right).
The applied color can be registered in Nearest Color Finder Library and reused.
