Using a Spot Color Library

Create and use an original spot color library in a named spot color library.

Example of use

  1. Assign a spot color name to a color that has not been decided at the time of print data creation and create the data.
  2. Create a spot color library and define the spot color name that was created in 1.
  3. Add the print data to the job list.
  4. Perform printing.

The spot color definition can be changed by creating multiple spot color libraries and selecting/deselecting the spot color library check box in the named spot color settings window.

There are three types of Color Type for created spot color libraries.

  • Alias of Special Inks

Converts a spot color to a white, gloss, primer, or metallic silver spot color ink.
