Performing Printing (Printing Only)

The method for printing only without cutting is as follows.

Use this output method when both print data and cutting lines are present but only printing is desired, or when there are no cutting lines and only printing is possible.

Refer to "Printing and Cutting" if you want to cut after printing, or "Cutting after Removing the Printed Media" if you want to cut after removing the printed media and applying lamination or other processing.

Procedure
  1. Correctly load in the machine the media or the object and prepare to print.

    For details on how to load media or the various adjustments made before printing, refer to the documentation for the machine you are using.

  2. Click tb_standard_send-to-device.

    The Send to Device dialog box appears.

  3. Select the machine where the data will be sent.

    If the machine you are using is not displayed, it has not been set in VersaWorks.

  4. In Output, select either Page or Objects.
    MEMO

    Select Page to output at the Standard Page Sizes designated with Design Central. Select Objects to output at the size of the object.

    You can check the Output of Page and Objects with Preview.

  5. Click Print Parameters to configure the output settings.
    Configure the following settings with Cutting Options on the Cut Controls tab.
    • Operation Mode: Print Only
    • Check that Crop mark (Printing) check box is cleared.

    The Quality, Cut Controls, and Others tabs are located in Print Parameters. These tabs set operations during printing and cutting. For more information, refer to Print Parameters.

  6. Click OK.
    The Print Parameters window closes.
  7. Click Send.

    After processing by the RIP, the data is sent and then printing starts.

    You can check the progress of the printing in the display on the machine, in Utility, or by other means.
