Managing the Nearest Color Finder Library

Check the results of the saved Nearest Color Finder Library.

The number of libraries that can be saved is not limited, but you can delete any libraries that are no longer necessary.

Procedure
  1. Click Edit - Nearest Color Finder Library on the menu bar.
    The Nearest Color Finder Library window opens with all results saved in the past displayed.
  2. Check the Nearest Color Finder Library.
    The following items are listed. Select a result and click [<] on the right side to display items such as Nickname and Creation Date, displaying the environment information when the result was saved in the library.
    • Spot Color Name
    • Model Name
    • Serial Number
    • Ink Type
    • Media Name
    • Print Quality
    • Resolution
    • Mode
    • Printer Profile
    MEMO Unless all the above nine items have the same values as the printer setting parameters, the corresponding library cannot be used.
  3. If necessary, use the following procedure to filter the results.
    1. Click VW7-ICON_Shiborikomi.
      The Filter Conditions window appears.
    2. Specify the following conditions.
      • Spot Color Name
      • Model Name and Serial Number
      • Media Name
    3. Click OK.
      The results are filtered according to the specified conditions.
  4. To save the results, perform the following procedure.
    1. Click VW7-ICON_SavetoFile.
    2. Specify the folder to use as the download location.
      All results in the library will be downloaded. The data will be saved as a JSON file.
  5. To delete the results, perform the following procedure.
    1. Select a result to delete, and then click VW7-ICON_DustBox.
    2. In the confirmation window, click Yes.
    The selected result is deleted.
  6. Close the Nearest Color Finder Library window.
