When Printing Align for Measurement Charts

Procedure
  1. Connect the measurement instrument, and then set up the measurement instrument.
    Use the measurement instrument specified in For Spot and Special Colors under Edit - Preferences - Measurement Instrument on the menu bar.

    As necessary, calibrate the measurement instrument or set a chart.

    MEMO Mac: Preferences is displayed as Preferences.
  2. Click Select with Measurement Instrument and measure the chart.
    An asterisk will be displayed for the swatch with the color closest to the color being adjusted.
  3. Click Save to Library.

    The selected color is applied to the selected spot color on the relevant tab of the Start Nearest Color Finder window. However, it will not be applied to jobs with a different Quality setting.

  4. Specify the color on all tabs.
  5. Click Exit.
    The Nearest Color Finder window closes.
This completes the nearest color finder settings. Output a job and check that the set spot color is output as intended.
