Performing Only UV Lamp Illumination

Depending on the media and the print data, the ink may not be fully cured just by the UV illumination during printing. Therefore use this procedure to fully cure ink to its center and as post-processing to special printing in which the ink is not fully cured.

Follow the procedure below and configure the settings so that only the same UV illumination as during printing is performed after printing.

Depending on the model you are using, this setting may be disabled.

Procedure
  1. Use one of the methods below to open the Job Settings window.
    • Double-click the job to set.
    • Right-click on the job to set, then click Edit Design - Job Settings .
    • With a job selected, click VW7_JobMenu1 on the left side of the job tool area, and then click VW7_CustomizeJob Settings .
  2. Click VW7_PrinterControl Printer Controls.
  3. Select UV Post Cure Only for Operation Mode under UV Lamp Control.
  4. As necessary, use Scan Speed to set the print head movement speed.
  5. Click OK.
    You are returned to the main window. The VW7-ICON_UV illumination job icon is added to the job name field in the job list.
  6. Perform printing.
    Only UV lamp illumination is performed.
