Step 1: Registering a Spot Color in Illustration Software
Here, load a spot color into the color palette of the illustration software. This is very useful, as this allows you to easily specify the spot colors from the color palette when creating print data.
VersaWorks comes with palette data for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Register this data in the illustration software. Save these data files on the RIP server (computer where VersaWorks is installed) to the target computer (the computer on which Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is installed).
