General Tab

On this tab, you can set the automatic starting of VPanel and the layout of the top window. When more than one machine is connected, the machine selected in the top window becomes the target for the setting.

Version

Displays the current VPanel version. Select the Notify when updates are available check box to display a notification in the notification area in Windows when the latest version of the software is updated.

Connected machine selection

Set all the machines connected to VPanel to offline, and then click Settings to display the Connected machine selection window.

From the machines registered on the computer, select one to connect to VPanel and operate. Select the machine to operate from the Usable machines.
Up to four machines can be registered under Machine to operate.

If the same machine will be connected to and operated each time, select the Do not display this dialog box the next time the VPanel starts. check box.

Language

Sets the VPanel display language.

Select the display language to use, click OK, and then restart VPanel to switch to the selected language.

Layout

Select Landscape to display the top window with the horizontal layout.

Select Portrait to display the top window with the vertical layout.

Run VPanel at PC start-up

Select this check box to start VPanel automatically when the computer starts.

Show advanced settings

Select this check box to display the Advanced settings tab in the Machine Settings window.

Changing these settings may have an adverse effect on the milling results. Fully understand the effect on the milling results of changes to these settings before configuring them.
