Deciding the Production Personnel for Ordered Products

Decide the persons in charge of work for the orders loaded into PAM. This must be performed by a user who has Admin privileges. The person in charge of the work is a user who has Operator or Power User privileges. It is not possible to assign a user work to a user who has Admin privileges.

Even when the user is not an Admin, if the user has been granted "Change Order Assignee" permission in the access rights settings, that user can change the worker assignments. However, in this case, the only assignments that can be changed are the orders which were assigned to that user by a user with Admin privileges.

Procedure
  1. If you are not logged in to PAM-Web, log in.

    Log in as a user with Admin privileges.

    Log in using a PAM account and password, not Roland DG Connect.

  2. Click Orders.

    A list of orders for which work has not yet been completed is displayed.
  3. Click icon_edit.png for the order that you want to assign a worker to.

    The Edit order display appears.
  4. Click Assigned To and then select the worker to assign.
    When the quantity is large and you want to divide the work among multiple workers, it is possible to assign multiple personnel.

  5. When necessary, also set the jig to use for printing.

    At this stage, the setting is not a requirement.

    It may be set automatically by the Automation Rules.

    This can also be set or changed later by the personnel assigned to the work.

  6. Click Save.
