Preventing Update Notifications

VersaWorks updates several times a year. Updates will be made to support new models, to add new features, media or color profiles, and to fix bugs. With the initial settings, the function for notifying the user of available updates when VersaWorks starts is enabled. However, if updates other than adding printers will not be performed, you can disable update notifications.

Procedure
  1. Display Preferences or Preferences.
    • Windows: From the menu bar, click Edit - Preferences.
    • Mac: Click VersaWorks 7 - Preferences on the menu bar.
  2. Click Update.
  3. Clear the Check for Updates Automatically and Notify checkbox under Update Settings.
    This checkbox is selected by default.
  4. Click OK.
    The Preferences or Preferences window closes.
