Checking the Link Settings with External Applications

When the following application software links with VersaWorks, this setting must be on.

Turning this setting off will prevent the "Stop Connect Hub" message that is displayed when Connect Hub is not activated. As a result, functions added through Connect are disabled. Also, the message informing the user that additional features have been disabled will no longer be displayed.

Procedure
  1. Display Preferences or Preferences.
    • Windows: From the menu bar, click Edit - Preferences.
    • Mac: Click VersaWorks 7 - Preferences on the menu bar.
  2. Click Linking.
  3. Check that Link with External Application under Linking is on.
    This checkbox is selected by default.
  4. Click OK.
    The Preferences or Preferences window closes.
