Outputting from Other Computers

When two or more computers are connected to the network, you can output from another computer (A) on which the print data was created or edited via a computer (B) on which VersaWorks is installed.

In this situation, the computer on which VersaWorks is installed is called the "RIP server," and other computers are called "clients."

Transmit the print data created on a client to the RIP server (1). Although an image file transmitted from a client is sent to the printer via the RIP server (2), the RIP server works as a printer when viewed from a client.

A Client 1 Print data
B RIP server (Windows only) 2 Job (RIP data)

This section explains the operations for taking the print data created on a client and printing it via the RIP server.
