Special Color
Configures the spot color printing settings.

| Special Color Plate Generation | When there is a spot color that is not used in print data, you can generate spot color plates (white, gloss, primer, and metallic silver) in VersaWorks. You cannot generate spot color plates with printing data where all of [RDG_WHITE], [RDG_GLOSS], [RDG_PRIMER], and [RDG_MetallicSilver] are used in Illustrator. (When one of [RDG_WHITE], [RDG_GLOSS], [RDG_PRIMER], or [RDG_MetallicSilver] is used, spot color plates can be generated only for the spot colors that are not used.) | ||||
| Generate Special Color Plate | The checkbox is active when the spot color selected with is not used in print data. | ||||
| Generated Pattern | Specifies the location to generate the spot color plate. Default value: Print Area | ||||
| Print Area | The plate is generated below the objects. | ||||

| Special Color Plate Correction | The spot color plate setting is displayed in the top part. Specify the position and size correction values in the bottom part. | ||||
| Print Mode | Displays the Media Type, Print Quality, Resolution, and Mode from the quality settings. | ||||
| Spot Color | Displays the generated spot color. | ||||
| White | Generates a white spot color plate. | ||||
| Gloss | Generates a gloss spot color plate. | ||||
| Primer | Generates a primer spot color plate. | ||||

| Position Correction | First click Test Print, then select either Simple or Details and click OK. Based on the test printing results, enter Horizontal and Vertical correction values.
