Cut & Print

This method uses printing data including cutting lines to perform cutting first followed by printing. Performing cutting first reduces the drying time compared to cutting after printing.

However depending on the conditions of the media after cutting, there may be an effect on printing.

Performing Printing after Cutting
Print OnlySelect to perform printing only.
Cut OnlySelect to perform cutting only.
Cut All PathsAll paths will be recognized as cutting lines and will be cut regardless of whether they are drawn with the spot color (CutContour).Performing Just Cutting
Cut Image BoundariesCuts the border of the job regardless of whether a cutting line is present.
Return to Origin After PrintPulls back the media after printing.
Return to Origin After CutReturns the media to the origin (the position before cutting) after cutting.

Cutting SpeedEnter Cutting Speed in cm/s.
Cutting ForceEnter Cutting Force in units of gram-force.
Blade OffsetEnter the blade offset value (the distance between the tip and the center of the blade) in millimeters. Enter the offset value for the blade being used.
Execute PREFEED OperationFeeds out media according to the size of the data before starting output, thereby preventing the media from being pulled out with excessive force. The media is then pulled back to the output-start location.

Perform Perforated Cut for Image BoundariesThis can be selected and the boundary can be changed to perforated cutting when Cut Image Boundaries is selected.

Cutting Conditions SettingsConfigures the detailed perforated cutting conditions.
Perforation LengthSets the length of the part that will be cut through to the backing paper.

Default value: 20 mm (0.8 in.)

Perforation ForceSets the blade force for the part that will be cut through to the backing paper.

Default value: 150 gf

Half-cut LengthSets the length of the part where just the sticker surface will be cut, leaving the backing paper.

Default value: 1,000 mm (39.37 in.)

Half-cut ForceSets the blade force for the part where just the sticker surface will be cut, leaving the backing paper.

Default value: 1 gf
