Setting the Print Head Speed
This section explains how to set the print head's movement speed during printing (Head Speed).
Increasing Head Speed will shorten the printing time but lower the image quality. Decreasing Head Speed will have the opposite effect.
Consider the balance between printing time and image quality when setting this value.
Procedure

Click for the queue folder that you want to use.
The Queue Properties window appears.

- Select the media to use in printing from the Media Type list.

Use Print Quality to select the printing quality.
If Resolution and Mode are selectable, select those as well.The available parameters for Resolution and Mode vary depending on the media setting in the Media Explorer window.
- Select the Ignore Default Settings check box.

Enter the print head speed in the Head Speed box or use to set the speed.
The entered value will be set to the maximum value or minimum value if it exceeds or is below the range of settable values.
- Click OK. You can also perform the same operations in the Job Settings window. The estimated printing time of the job for each Print Quality mode is displayed in the Job Settings window.
