Step 2: Performing Printing
Procedure
- Add print data that contains the special color to the job list.

Double-click the target file in the job list.
The Job Settings window appears.

Select the Convert Special Color (Value Specified Color) check box.
Input Color The special color used with the job is displayed. MEMO If the output color is a special color defined in the Lab color space, a caution mark () is displayed when the output color cannot be reproduced (it is out of the gamut) with the selected media and quality.
Output Color Displays the process color values to which the special color has been converted. Click Details to display the Special Color List window.
- Configure the media settings and other such settings necessary for printing.

Processing by the RIP and printing are performed.MEMO- For special colors whose output colors are defined in the Lab color space, select the color matching method from the Matching Method list. Color matching is performed according to this setting. (The setting under Quality will be ignored.)
- You can also enable Convert Special Color (Value Specified Color) by clicking
in the Queue Properties window. In this case, special color conversion will be performed even if you do not enable this function in the Job Settings window.
