Step 5: Creating Data while Checking the Position

Procedure
  1. Start Designer.

    Click the Designer icon in Roland DG Connect Hub to open Designer.

    If the Roland DG Connect login screen is displayed, enter your email address and password.

  2. Follow the procedure below to import the captured file saved in Step 4: Capturing the Image of the Object into Designer.
    1. Click New Design - Object Decoration Design.
      The New Object Decoration Design window appears.
    2. Open the AR Picture tab.
    3. Enter the Design Name.
    4. Select the machine you are using.
    5. Enter in Table Height the value of Flat Table Height displayed on the Utility home screen.

    6. Upload the captured file.
    7. Click Analyze.

      If the file is correctly read as an AR image, a check mark icon appears.

      MEMO If the alignment markers cannot be read, the error window is displayed. Refer to Alignment Markers Cannot Be Read to perform imaging again and reading again.
    8. Click Create.
      The captured image is cropped to the size of the four alignment markers and is displayed in the design area.

  3. Create and save the print data.
    Print data is created with the object in the background, so you can work while visualizing how it will look after printing.
