Step 2: Import the Image

Import an image (such as a photograph or drawing) to be imprinted.
MEMO With METAZAStudio, you can only import data in the following file formats.
  • JPEG format
  • BMP (bitmap) format
  • AI, EPS format (only data saved with Illustrator version 7.0/8.0 or CorelDraw version 7/8)

Procedure
  1. Click icon_METAZAStudio_Import.

    The Import window appears.

  2. Import an image to be imprinted.
    1. At Look in, select the location of the file.
    2. Under Files of type, select either Picture file or Adobe Illustrator file.
    3. Select the file you want.
    4. Click Open.

    The specified image is imported and displayed in the imprint area () and aligned within the margins you have set ().

    You can arrange the imported image by changing its location, size, and angle as well as by adding a frame.Tips and Tricks for Image Layout

    IMPORTANT When imprinting on material that has holes, take care to ensure that the image is not laid out over the holes. If you include the holes in the imprint area (), the marking pin might hit the edge of the material and cause damage.

    The imprint area lies over a hole. No margins are present at the edges of the material. The imprint area extends beyond the material.
