Changing Z-axis Origin

You can select whether to set the origin of the Z axis (which indicates the distance in the height direction) to the lowest or highest position on the Z axis.

Procedure
  1. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU.
  2. Tap Preferences - Z-axis Origin.
  3. Select Z-axis Origin from the following.

    Z-axis Origin Description
    Height

    The lowest state of the table is used as the origin (0 mm) of the Z-axis, and the distance up along the axis from the origin is displayed as Height.
    Thickness

    The highest state of the table is used as the origin (0 mm) of the Z-axis, and the distance down along the axis from the origin is displayed as Thickness.

    The value displayed as Thickness takes into account items such as the height of the table. Therefore, the displayed value may differ from the actual thickness of the object to be printed on.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to return to the home screen.
