DGSHAPE CAM uses curves and surfaces to identify characteristics of dental prostheses such as screw holes, thread cutting surfaces, and margin lines/prep lines. Some dental prostheses cannot be placed appropriately if specific surfaces and curves do not exist. Without these required elements, unexpected cutting results may occur, the cutting bur may be damaged, the dental prosthesis may be incomplete, or components may be damaged.
