Detecting the Cylinder

Cylinder

You can use this function to manually set the drilling axis in the center of cylindrical holes such as the screw access channel that is seen in abutments and screw-retained crowns. The drilling axis is drawn as a green line inside the hole. If the system does not automatically recognize this axis, there are options for manually identifying and specifying this area.

After selecting this function, just click the inside of the hole to automatically determine the diameter and depth required for drilling.

MEMO

It is recommended to select the part where the cylinder is closest to a complete shape within the screw access channel. If you select anything else, it may take a long time to detect the orientation of the drilling axis or this axis may be detected inaccurately.
