Setting the Height of the Flat Table

Set the flat table to a position suitable for printing.

Procedure
  1. Click Change under Flat Table Height.

  2. Make the nozzle drop-out test paper come into contact with the head gap sensor.
    1. Move the flat table as close as possible to the head gap sensor.
      Move the head gap sensor as close as possible to the print surface beforehand to reduce the time required for automatic height setting.
      • Click Up or Down on the right side of the window to move the flat table forward or back.
      • Click Up or Down on the left side of the window to move the flat table up or down.
      MEMO
      • You can select 0.1 mm (0.004 in.), 1 mm (0.04 in.), 10 mm (0.39 in.), or 50 mm (1.97 in.) as the single-click moving distance.
      • If the height position is unclear, open the front cover and make the adjustments from a close distance.

    2. Click Automatic Setup.
      Gradually raise the height of the flat table in small increments from the position set in (1) until it comes into contact with the head gap sensor.
      The height of the table will be set automatically so the print surface of the object is about 1 mm (0.04 in.) away from the print head's ink emission surface.

  3. When the height of the flat table is set, click OK.

    This ends the flat table height setup procedure.
