Step 4: Adjust Pointer Position

Procedure
  1. Click the Printing Zone button.

    Change the printing position of the position adjustment pattern.

    If printing is performed without changing the printing area of the position adjustment pattern, the position adjustment pattern will be printed on top of the nozzle drop-out test pattern, making position adjustment difficult.

    MEMO The size for the nozzle drop-out test pattern is approximately 90 mm × 51 mm (3.54 in. × 2.01 in.).

    After changing the printing area of the position adjustment pattern, click OK.

    The position adjustment pattern is printed.

  2. Use Up Down Left Right to center the pointer in the middle of the pattern.

    MEMO Use Up Down to move the flat table, and then use Left Right to move the print-head carriage.
  3. Click OK.

    After pointer settings are complete, the sub power switches off automatically, and Utility will display the home screen.
    This completes the initial printer settings of the printer. For information on printer handling, refer to the user's manual.
