Printing Using White Ink/Gloss Ink/Primer/Metallic Silver Ink
When printing using Roland DG Corporation's genuine white ink, gloss ink, primer, or metallic silver ink, it is necessary to specify these spot colors with the print data so that they can be recognized by VersaWorks.
First register the white, gloss, primer, and metallic silver spot colors in the illustration software (the color palettes of the cutting line and perforated cutting line are registered at the same time). Then create the print data and configure the various settings with VersaWorks before printing.
Step 1: Registering a Spot Color in Illustration Software
Here, load a spot color into the color palette of the illustration software. This is very useful, as this allows you to easily specify the spot colors from the color palette when creating print data.
