Using a Spot Color Library
Create and use an original spot color library in a named spot color library.
Example of use
- Assign a spot color name to a color that has not been decided at the time of print data creation and create the data.
- Create a spot color library and define the spot color name that was created in 1.
- Add the print data to the job list.
- Perform printing.
Also, there is no need to recreate the print data when changing the specified spot color. To print again with a different color, use Spot Color Settings to define one spot color in multiple spot color libraries in advance, and then switch the spot color library you are using.
- Lab
Specify a spot color using a Lab value. Specify by entering the value directly or by specifying the value measured by the measurement instrument. Select Assign Another Spot Color to specify any color in all spot color libraries, such as DIC and PANTONE.
- CMYK
Specify a spot color using a CMYK value. Select Assign Another Spot Color to specify any color in the Roland Color System Library.
- Alias of Special Inks
Converts a spot color to a white, gloss, primer, or metallic silver spot color ink.
