Applying the Tone Curve Adjustment to Other Jobs
Save the tone curve settings as a Roland curve file (.rcv) and apply the same settings to another job. The job settings and queue folder settings can also be saved.
However, level adjustment only using the Level Adjustment slide bar cannot be saved as a Roland curve file.
Procedure
- Adjust the tone curve according to the information given in Adjusting the Tone Curve

Click Save....
Enter a name, and then click Save.... The tone curve (.rcv) is saved.

Click OK.
You are returned to the main window.
- If multiple printers are connected to the computer, select the printer that you want to apply the saved tone curve to.

Perform the operation shown below according to where the tone curve is being applied.
- Job
- Double-click the job to set.
- Right-click on the job to set, then click .
- With a job selected, click
on the left side of the job tool area, and then click
Job Settings .
The Job Settings window appears.
- Queue folder: Click
for the queue folder.
The Queue Properties appears.
- Job

Click
Color Management.

Click
next to Tone Curves under Level Adjustment.
The Tone Curves setting window appears. - Click Load....
- Select the Roland curve file that was saved in Step 2 and click Open.

Click OK.
- Any changes made in Job Settings will be applied, and you will be returned to the main window.
- When changes are made in Queue Properties:
- When a message for saving the printing settings appears, click OK.

To apply the changes to a job already in the queue folder, right-click on the job and click
. The changes are reflected in the layout area of the main window.
The same settings of the tone curve adjusted in Step 1 are applied to the job.
