Create spot color objects based on shapes included in the print data.
Procedure
Select the job to which to add the spot color from the job list.
MEMOSpot color objects can only be created for PDF-format jobs.
Use one of the methods below to open the Job Assistant window.
Right-click the selected job, and then click Edit Design - Job Assistant.
Click on the left side of the job tool area, and then click Job Assistant.
Click the tab.
Click the shape to be the basis of the spot color plate in the preview area.
You can select multiple shapes by holding down the shift key while clicking.
Select under Editing Method.
In Type of Spot Color, set Spot Color and Density.
Select the following conditions for Create Spot Color Object.
Corner Shape
Miter: Creates a spot color object that maintains the corner shape. However when Miter Limit is on, then depending on the angle, a spot color object with chamfered corners may be created in the same way as Bevel.
Round: Creates a spot color object that rounds the corners.
Bevel: Creates a spot color object that chamfers the corners.
Miter Limit
Enabled only when Miter is selected for Corner Shape.
OFF: Creates a spot color object that maintains the corner regardless of the angle.
ON: According to the Angle setting, a spot color object with chamfered corners is created in the same way as Bevel.
Angle
Enabled when Miter Limit is on and Offset is set to +.
Use the slider to set the Angle to be chamfered. For example, the more you set the angle to the Large direction, the wider will be the angle at which chamfering is performed.

Offset
Sets the distance from the outline of the selected shape at which to create the spot color object.
Click Create.
Click OK.
In the confirmation window, click Yes.
The Initialization Error window closes. It will be added to the job list as a new job.
