Specifying a Spot Color in Job Settings
Procedure
- Add the print data where the spot color was specified to the job list.
- Use one of the methods below to open the Job Settings window.
- Double-click the job to set.
- Right-click the job to set, and then click .
- With a job selected, click
on the left side of the job tool area, and then click
Job Settings.
- Click
Color$Replacement.
- Select the Convert Spot Color checkbox under Spot Colors.Make sure that the specified spot color name is displayed in the Color Name field.
- Click Details.The Spot Color List window appears.
- Select the spot color name to be changed from Spot Color List.
- Select the Use Spot Color Library checkbox under Edit Output Color.
- Use one of the methods below to change the color value of the spot color.
- Use Color Library
Specify the spot color from a spot color library such as Roland Color System Library or PANTONE.
- Specify Lab
Specify the spot color by entering the Lab value directly or by using a measurement instrument to measure the color.
- Specify using CMYK values
Specify the spot color by entering the CMYK values directly.
- Use Color Library
- Repeat Steps 6 to 8 to change multiple spot colors.
- Click Close.The Spot Color List window closes, and the Job Settings window appears.MEMO The configured Output Color is displayed under Spot Colors, but the changed spot color is not reflected in the Job Settings window or main preview window.
- Click OK.You are returned to the main window.
