Step 1: Checking the Conditions That Permit Spot Color Plate Generation
Procedure
- Click the job in the job list.

Check the Special Items in the preview area.
Check whether spot colors have been set on the printing data.
- "A": Cutting line
- "Wh": White plate
- "Gl": Gloss plate
- "Mt": Metallic silver
- "Pr": Primer plate
IMPORTANT You can set spot color plates that do not exist in the printing data, but you cannot set the generation of spot color plates for the following types of data:- Vector data for which an arbitrary spot color name has been assigned to each white ink/metallic silver ink/gloss ink/primerAssigning an Arbitrary Spot Color Name to Each White Ink/Metallic Silver Ink/Gloss Ink/Primer
- Raster data
- Replacement data for variable data printing
