Adjusting the Ink Limit

The ink does not dry easily or smudges, or you want better color saturation.

Add media and set the ink limit.
MEMO
  • To change the color, it is better to adjust the color in the original data than to adjust the ink limit.
  • Note that setting too high an ink limit will lead to ink smudging or prevent the ink from hardening.
Procedure
  1. Click Media - Media Explorer.
  2. Right-click the media whose ink limit will be adjusted, and then click Copy Media.
  3. Enter the name of the media to add, and then click OK.
  4. Select the print mode whose ink limit will be adjusted, and then click SETTING_QUALITY.
    The Media Explorer window appears.
  5. Click Set Ink Limit in the left pane.
  6. Change the Total Ink setting, and then click OK.
  7. When you click OK in the window, a confirmation message appears. Click Yes.
