Layering the Output of Primer, White Ink, and CMYK Ink

The white ink and CMYK ink areas for a job can be printed at the same time with a single output operation. Printing the areas simultaneously eliminates displacement, making stable, highly intricate printing possible.

  • Creating printing data

When using an application such as Adobe Illustrator to create the printing data, create the data of each color (primer, white ink, and color ink) on its own layer, and then save all the layers as a single piece of data. Order the layers so that spot colors (white, primer, gloss, and other non-color layers) are on top.
