Used when connecting a printer. The list of connected printers is displayed, and the Nickname, Ink Type, and Port can be set for each one.

You can use Search for Printers to search for printers on the local network.

VerifyDisplays the status of the following items for the printer selected in the list.
  • Model Name
  • Firmware Version
  • Serial Number
  • Status
AdvancedPartially restricts the print heads to use for printing (i.e. prevent the use of the print heads that are causing discharge issues). This operation is called the "nozzle mask," and while more time is required to complete the printing, it allows you to decrease the impact of dot drop-out or dot displacement.Depending on the model, this operation may be described in the User's Manual.
Printer StatusDisplays the information of the printer that was selected on the Top Page. The information which can be displayed is as shown below. Depending on the model you are using, some items may not be displayed.
  • Model Name

  • Firmware Version
  • Serial Number
  • Status
  • Media Name
  • Media Width
  • Media Length
  • Table Height
  • Rotary Mode
  • Ink Status
UpdateCan be used to check the amount of remaining ink.
Test PrintPerforms a test print of the job designated by VersaWorks. The queue folder where this job is saved can be specified in the location where the job is added.
Test CutPerforms a test cut of the data designated by VersaWorks after test printing.
