Adding an Overlap Width for Tiled Printing

When dividing a large job for printing (tiled printing), add an overlap width to the divided part (tile).

With Overlap, you can configure the overlap width, line width and color of the overlap line, and other settings.

Procedure
  1. In the job list, double-click the job.
    The Job Settings window appears.
  2. Click .
  3. Follow Tiling an Image to divide the image into tiles.
  4. Select how to create the overlapping from the options in the Type list under Overlap.
    • Top-Left

      Creates overlap widths at the top and left of tiles. Set this to decide the positions of the remaining three tiles after the top left (pink) position is decided.
    • ALL Corners

      Creates overlap widths around each tile. Set this when the tile to use as the reference for positioning is not specified.
  5. Enter the overlap width in Size.
  6. To print overlap lines, select the Print Overlap Lines check box.
    MEMO The line width and color of the overlap lines can be changed.
    1. Enter the value in Stroke under Overlap.
    2. Click Color Settings. The Color Settings window appears.
    3. Select RGB or CMYK from ColorSpace, and then adjust the slider bars or enter the values for each color.
    4. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
