Changing the Z-axis (Height) Origin

You can select whether to set the origin of the Z axis (which indicates the distance in the height direction) to the lowest or highest position on the Z axis.
Procedure
  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press [▶].
  4. Press [▼] several times to display the screen shown below.


  5. Press [▶].
  6. Press [▲] or [▼] to select "SET Z AXIS."
    SET Z AXIS Explanation
    "HGT" (Default settings) The lowest position on the Z axis is used for the origin (0 mm), and the distance up along the axis from the origin is displayed as "HGT" (the height).
    "THK"

    The highest position on the Z axis is used for the origin (0 mm), and the distance down along the axis from the origin is displayed as "THK" (the thickness).

    The value displayed as "THK" takes into account items such as the height of the flat table. Therefore, the displayed value may differ from the actual thickness of the object to be printed on.

  7. Press [ENTER] to confirm your entry.
  8. Press [MENU], then [◀] to go back to the original screen.
