1. Print the Print & Cut Data

Send print data from Designer to the printer, and print the Print & Cut data.

MEMO If you cannot output data from Designer, download the print data (pdf), and then print it.
Procedure
  1. If Roland DG Connect Hub and VersaWorks are not running, start them.
  2. Set up the media in the printer.
    For details on how to set up the media, refer to the printer's documentation.
  3. Hide the cutting layer of the print data.
    1. On the function toolbar, click RDGCD_Icon_Layoutbar_Layers Layers.
    2. Click LayerON for the cutting layer to hide it.
  4. Click RDGCD_Icon_Print Print in the upper-right corner of the window.
    The Send To VersaWorks window appears.
    If editing of the design is in progress, perform the operation after saving the design file.

  5. On the Settings tab, set the following items.
    • Local User
    • Printer Name
    • When you enter values in these two locations, the other items are automatically set. Change them as necessary.

  6. Set Action incoming jobs under Job Management.
    • Do Nothing

      The job is sent to queue A of the model set in VersaWorks.

    • RIP

      The job is sent to queue A of the model set in VersaWorks and is processed by the RIP according to the settings of queue A.

    • RIP and Print

      The job is sent to queue A of the model set in VersaWorks and is processed by the RIP and is printed according to the settings of queue A.

  7. Click Send To VersaWorks.
    • When RIP and Print is selected

      The job is added to VersaWorks queue A with the specified settings, and output is performed.

    • When Do Nothing or RIP is selected

      The job is added to VersaWorks queue A with the specified settings. Proceed to Step 8.

VersaWorks operation
  1. Check the job settings.
    Double-click the added job to change items such as the number of copies to print, the scaling, and the printing position. For details, refer to the VersaWorks Master Guide.
  2. Perform printing.
