Creating Spot Color Objects in the Shape You Want

If it is a simple shape like an ellipse or a rectangle, it can be added as a spot color object.

Procedure
  1. Select the job to which to add the spot color from the job list.
    MEMO Spot color objects can only be created for PDF-format jobs.
  2. Use one of the methods below to open the Job Assistant window.
    • Right-click the selected job, and then click Edit Design - Job Assistant.
    • Click VW7-ICON_JobMenu1 on the left side of the job tool area, and then click VW7-ICON_JobAssistant Job Assistant.
  3. Click the VW7_ICON－SpotColorTab tab.
  4. Select JobAssistant-SpotColor_byouga under Editing Method.
  5. In Type of Spot Color, set Spot Color and Density.
  6. Select the shape of the object.
    • JobAssistant-SpotColor_maru: Ellipse
    • JobAssistant-SpotColor_shikaku: Rectangle
  7. Click Draw.
    The object for the selected shape is displayed.
  8. Select an object and use the mouse to match the size and position to the print data.
  9. Click OK.
  10. In the confirmation window, click Yes.
    The Initialization Error window closes. It will be added to the job list as a new job.
