Adding a Name to a Queue Folder

Adding a name to a queue folder will make it easier to organize jobs. The queue folder name is retained even after exiting VersaWorks. However when the registered machine is deleted, the queue folder names are also deleted.

Some usage examples are listed below.
  • Separating according to client (example: Queue A > Roland DG, Queue B > DGSHAPE)
  • Separating according to used media name (example: Queue A > transparent media, Queue B > PVC media)
  • Separating according to work day (example: Queue A > 10/13, Queue B > 10/14)
Procedure
  1. Click VW7_Customize for the queue folder to configure settings.
    The Queue Properties appears.
  2. Enter the desired name in Queue Name.
  3. Click OK.
The Queue Properties window closes, and the entered name is displayed in Queue.
    MEMO
    • The size of the queue folder tabs changes to match the width of Queue with the longest name.
    • The number of Queue items that are displayed depends on the width of the window.
