Importing Media Files into VersaWorks

Media files can be downloaded and imported directly in VersaWorks. To perform this operation, verify that the computer on which VersaWorks is installed is connected to the Internet.

The media files will be determined according to the model and ink type. Select the printer in VersaWorks, and then select the media files to be imported.

This operation requires a Roland DG Connect account.

Procedure
  1. Select the printer for which the files will be imported.
  2. Click Media - Media Explorer.
    The Media Explorer window appears.
  3. Click クラウド.
  4. Sign in with your Roland DG Connect account.
    The Download Media window appears for the model selected in step 1.
  5. Select [Ink Type] and [RIP].
    • [Ink Type]: The ink types for the model selected in step 1
    • [RIP]: VersaWorks 6.x
  6. Select the media to download the media files.
  7. Close the window after downloading completes.
  8. The This will start the importing of the downloaded media. Do you want to continue? dialog box is displayed. Click Yes.
  9. When the downloaded media files are displayed, click OK.
    The media files will be added to the media list in Media Explorer.
