Using Media Color Settings
You can export the Color Settings of existing media to import these settings for use in editable media. The items that can be used are as follows.
- Single Color Limit and Output :
- Total Ink :
- Printer Profile :
As an example, this section provides the procedure for reusing the CMYK Color Settings of an existing piece of media (Mode: White->CMYK) for the CMYK of the third layer of a piece of layering media (Mode: CMYK->White->CMYK).

*1 If the ink mode of the reused media is White->CMYKOrRe, CMYKOrRe will also be applied to the target media.
Procedure
- Select the printer, and then click .

Duplicate the existing media (which has Mode: White->CMYK) to reuse.

Select the duplicated media, and then double-click the ink mode to duplicate in the Mode List.
The window changes.

Click to export the settings.
MEMO The file is saved with the .rccs extension.The window for selecting the folder in which to save the file appears. Save the file in the desired folder.
- In the Media Explorer window, select the layering media to which reused settings will be applied.

Double-click the ink mode (CMYK->White->CMYK) in the Mode List.
The Print Mode Settings window appears.
- Select Color Settings, and then select 3. CMYK from the drop-down list of layers.
- Click Next.

Click , and then import the Color Settings saved in step 4.
The message There are profiles that are already installed. Click "Yes" to overwrite the existing profiles. Click "No" to import the color settings only. Do you want to continue? appears. Select No.The CMYK Color Settings of the existing piece of media (Mode: White->CMYK) are applied to the third layer of the piece of layering media (Mode: CMYK->White->CMYK).
