Applying the Tone Curve Adjustment to Other Jobs

Save the tone curve settings as a Roland curve file (.rcv) and apply the same settings to another job. The job settings and queue folder settings can also be saved.
Procedure
  1. Adjust the tone curve according to the information given in Adjusting the Tone Curve
  2. In the Tone Curves window, click Save….
    Enter a name, and then click Save…. The tone curve (.rcv) is saved.
  3. Click OK.
    The Tone Curves window closes.
  4. Click OK.
  5. If multiple printers are connected to the computer, select the printer that you want to apply the saved tone curve to.
  6. Perform the operation shown below according to where the tone curve is being applied.
    • Job: Double-click the job to open the Job Settings window.
    • Queue folder: Click for the queue folder to open the Queue Properties window.
  7. Click .
  8. Click Level Adjustment - Edit Tone Curves.
  9. Click Load….
  10. Select the Roland curve file that was saved in Step 2 and click Open.
  11. Click OK to close the Tone Curves window.
  12. Click OK.
    • Any changes made in Job Settings will be applied.
    • When changes are made in Queue Properties:
      1. A message that printing settings will be overwritten appears. Click Yes.
      2. To apply the changes to a job already in the queue folder, select the job and click 1_2_2_4_clear_a.

    The same settings of the tone curve adjusted in Step 1 are applied to the job.
