Checking the Workflow
This section explains the basic workflow of daily operations.
Performing appropriate maintenance at the correct times can help prevent malfunction as well as bring out the full potential of this machine.
Procedure
When starting work
- Mix the white ink.
- Perform start-up cleaning (Cleaning the Nozzle Surface).

Perform a nozzle drop-out test.
Determine what action to take based on Nozzle Drop-out Test Standard.
- If nozzle drop-out is acceptable, start printing.
- If nozzle drop-out is not acceptable, try to resolve the issue by referring to Handling Dot Drop-out and Dot Displacement.
Print

Perform printing.
If you are having problems with white ink discharge, try to resolve the issue by referring to When Uneven Color Issues Occur with White Ink.
When finishing work
- Clean the machine.
- Perform daily shut down cleaning (Cleaning around the Print Heads).
