What Is PrintAutomate?

Roland DG Connect PrintAutomate includes three apps.

• Web app that operates in the Cloud

  This assigns persons responsible for the work of the received orders, creates fixing jigs for the object, and outputs print data to the RIP.

• Windows app which processes order data received from e-commerce or other order receiving system, and loads it into PAM

  The name is "Roland DG Connect PrintAutomate Input Manager." This monitors the contents of the specified folder for the presence of files, and immediately transfers any detected files to the Web app.

• Windows app that sets the print data save destination, and delivers print data to the RIP

  The name is "Roland DG Connect PrintAutomate Output Manager." This detects the VersaWorks input folder and presets it as the output destination for print data. When an output device is changed or added, the preset is automatically updated. For other RIP, the folder for delivering data to the RIP is set manually.
