  4. Attach a head cap to the tip of the head.

Attach it while lightly holding the head as shown in the following figure. The head cap is attached correctly when its tab clicks.

IMPORTANT Even when performing imprinting with no head cap used, attach a head cap at this time. This prevents injuries and material damage due to the marking pin striking your hands or the material when you load the material.

  6. Affix the adhesive sheet to the table.
Note the following points when affixing the adhesive sheet.

    • Place it inside the table frame.
    • Be careful not to allow any air bubbles to form between the adhesive sheet and the table.

MEMO If the adhesive strength of the adhesive sheet has been reduced, wash the adhesive sheet. Also, be careful not to damage the surface such as by rubbing with too much force. Doing so may damage the surface and reduce its adhesive strength.
  7. Press down lightly on the material to load it.

Load the material in a way that its center () comes to the center of the scale on the table ().

    MPX-90S_HandlingBigMaterial

Load the material in a way that the center of the imprinting area () comes to the center of the scale on the table (). If the material tilts, place a support in order to keep the imprinting surface horizontal.
