Timing of Ink Replacement
When ink is about to run out, replace it before printing.
If the remaining ink display on the home screen of the operation panel is marked with 
, the ink level is low. (It is also displayed if the shelf life is about to expire or has expired.) We recommend replacing ink in advance as needed, using VersaWorks' ink usage amounts as a reference.
When an ink cartridge runs out of ink, an Ink Cartridge Error appears.
Empty is displayed for ink that has run out. Check the operation panel, and then replace the empty ink.
MEMO
- If ink runs out during printing, printing is paused.
- If ink runs out during cleaning, cleaning is canceled. When you replace the ink pouch, cleaning resumes.
