Making It Easier to Check White Ink with Nozzle Drop-Out Tests

Depending on the color of the media, it may be difficult to check the white ink test pattern. To perform a nozzle drop-out test with white media, print a base in black under the white ink test pattern. This black base makes it easier to check for dot drop-out and dot displacement in the white ink.

Procedure
  1. Set up the media.
  2. Tap Panel_Icon_TestPrint Nozzle Drop-out Test on the home screen.
  3. Tap Cleaning - Printing Test to select Nozzle Drop-out Test (Base: Black).
  4. Tap Execute.
    The white ink test pattern is printed on a black base.
