Using Transparent Media

If you are using transparent media, it is not possible to detect the front and back of the media during media setup. Therefore, set Media Edge Detection to Disable. With this setting, the printer will not perform the Skewing Correction Support at Setup action.

When setting up transparent media, see "Determine the positions of the media (Media Edge Detection: Disable)" to perform media setup.

Procedure
  1. Tap Panel_Icon_Menu.
  2. Tap Preferences - Media Edge Detection.
  3. Select Disable and tap Save.
  4. Tap Panel_Icon_Home.
    You are returned to the home screen.
