Sleep Mode (Power-saving Feature)

This machine is provided with a power-saving feature that switches to a low-power "sleep mode" when a fixed interval passes with no operation. The factory default for the time after which the machine switches to sleep mode is 30 minutes. The operation panel turns off when the machine enters sleep mode. Tapping the operation panel, opening or closing a cover, inserting or removing a cartridge, operating the pinch lever, or performing a similar action restores the machine to the normal mode. Note that when the machine is in sleep mode with media set up, sending print data from the computer restores the machine to the normal mode.
